Sadly, our store has closed. Due in part because of the economy and our divorce. Its time for our open house!
The open house started today late because of
the ridiculously icey roads but its now in full swing! We have fun christmas music (like the "Elf" movie soundtrack, one of my favorite Christmas time movies) playing throughout the store, free cookies, free Eggnog Latte and Butter Rum (which we sell here in the store), and storewide sales!
Everything is 20% off if its unmaked, marked items are anywhere from 30-75% off.

Falling for Autumn
Autumn is easily the most beautiful time of year (in my opinion) because of its vibrant colors. The orange-yellow sunset softly trickling through the windows making every room seem like the perfect place to take a catnap, red sidewalk leaves waiting to crunch as a child walks home from school, fresh pumpkin tea sitting patiently on the bistro table outside as you read your morning paper, purple crocus flowers rising from every speck of soil like monochromatic confetti.
It it such images that drove us to LOAD UP on fall decor. We're calling it our "Farmers Market" as we also have several sizes of a candle named such. We've got sunflowers, leafy garlands, wooden candle holders, a variety of colorful pumpkins, and a whole new shipment of Art Tiles beaming in colors and styles.
A little birdy told me...
We've recently been stocking up on all these adorable shabby tea party accessories. The styles are derivative of all those diy'ers out there revamping cottagy tables, seemingly-aged metal pieces, and the semi-new style of using birds on just about everything, which we've been seeing in unique shops all around Portland and other metropolitan cities.
Idea Center
One of our newest additions to the store is an idea center located in our "Shabby Chic" section. At this bright pink table you can relax and search through our several bedding, PJ's, and rugs catalogues from companies like Pine Cone Hill and Chandra. Feel free to choose any item and we will be happy to place an order for your selection.
Sweet Bedroom decorating idea
I love Country Living Magazine. That is where this picture was found. LOVE the colors they have mixed together in the room! I am a huge fan of "found" objects. The Bed is obviously the focus of this room. The simple bench at the end of the bed and the small Dresser complete the space nicely.

Art Tiles
These gorgeous Art Tiles make such a nice gift for anyone on your list. They can be used in many ways, such as Coffee Coasters for the 4x4, Trivets for the 12x12, and Wall hangings for the larger ones. They look great on a Plate stand too.
These Tiles can be used along with other tiles in your tile work in the Kitchen, Bath or anywhere else you tile. They are made just like all other ceramic tiles, all you have to do is soak them and the back covers come right off making them ready to apply!
After the glaze is applied to the tile, the tile is then heated. When the Tile is heated, the glaze will create small crackling effects in the tile. This is normal and gives the Tile it's own unique look.

Bring the Spring indoors!
Spring color isn't just for the Garden! What a nice way to bring the colors indoors with this side table. It would fit nicely near a front entry to catch keys and mail. If your lucky, and have a enclosed porch or sunroom, pair it up with a set of wicker garden chairs then toss down a rug that compliments a color shown on the table. Add some soft touches with a couple of throw pillows to the chairs and a light weight throw. A few potted plants situated around it adds to the outdoor feel. All thats left now is you, a Book and your favorite drink!

The picture just doesn't do it justice! The flower on the top is a deeper pink and much more vibrant. This is a great conversational piece. It would sit nicely next to a wicker chair. Cutest Bird Chandelier!
OK Ladies, this is the most adorable Chandelier! It plugs in rather than being hardwired in. This means you can place it anywhere! It would look fantastic in a Bathroom, Kitchen or even a Bedroom. This Chandelier is adorned with delicate leaves and cute little Birds, finishing it off are the beaded crystals giving it just the right amount of sparkle. If your looking for something to soften your area and is easy to install, this is a fabulous find.
Pacifica Candles
I found Pacifica Candles while I was vacationing in Hawaii a couple of years ago. I fell in love with them! To my surprise, they are made right here in Oregon! The scents, the colors....Fantastic! Animal Chalkboards
Need a place to leave a quick note? These Chalkboards are adorable! They are small enough to fit on a counter in the Kitchen, or near the front door for quick family reminders. Since there is not a place to store the chalk on the Chalkboard, I suggest you tie a ribbon around the chalk and then hang it from the Tail of the Dog. Now, no one has to go searching for the Chalk!
